Getting back to normal in Javea Town

Javea town hall are working hard to complete the major facelift that is going on in the Old Town. The small Plaza in front of the post office is now laid with the granite slabs and looking good. Once again we can drive the main Asturias Road, past the post office and up to the turning right into the Plaza de Constitucion car park. 

It was strange driving along the new road after so much time. However the area of Plaza de Iglesia is now being attended, part of it is dug up but the part in front of the Town all has been concreted and is awaiting tiling. Most of the works are preceding at a good pace and will continue throughout August.

The routes that can be walked and driven are almost changing daily due to the rapid progress. It is a bit of an inconvenience but the end result will be good and we hope the businesses of the town will survive it.
