 The festival commission would like to remind you that there are rules related to the bull running which are  no mal treatment of the animals, no person under the age of 16, pregnant or with alcohol may enter the bull arena. There will be festival police at the arena to make sure these rules are followed.

11.30 pm   Bull running in the harbour with surprise “night bull”

Thursday 4th

12 noon      Bull running in the harbour.
5 pm         Table football competition run by penya Mamera. Register at the penya.
 7 pm        Bull running in the harbour.
11.30pm   Bull running in the harbour with “flaming bull.”
1 am           Mobile disco on Port Promenade organised by penya Golosos

Friday 5th

12 noon  Bull running in the harbour.
7pm       Final bull running in the harbour.
10pm       Paella contest organised by organised by penya Marineres (registration at the penya) Sangria for all followed by mobile disco.

Saturday 6th” Senior Citzen Day!”

9.30am       Chess tournament in the Calle Jaime 1 organised by the chess club of Javea
10am            Junior chess competition, in Calle Jaime 1.
10 am         Basketball competition 3 v 3 in the sports hall organisedby Xabia basketball club.(register in sports hall 10am)
10.30am     “Brisca” card competition for over 50,s in the penya la Bufa.
12 noon       Prize giving for Fiesta drawing competition  in Calle Severo Ochoa followed by “Charley the Magician”
12.30pm       Aperitifs offered to senior citzens by penya la Bufa.
1 pm            Ringing of the bells.
4 pm            Continuation of basketball tournament in the sports hall.  
8.30pm        Procession of flower offerings to the Virgin  de Loreto de Mar
10pm            Valencian theatre group “Sainete” organised by penya La Bufa and sponsored by CAM bank.  
12 midnight. The “Tuna”(student traditional band) will serenade the “Mayoralesas”
1 am            Mobile disco organised by penya La UCA.

Sunday 7th “Day of St Christopher of the Sea”

8 am           Wake up call by La Barca del Pailebot.
11 am       Procession of bands Mayorales, Mayoralesas and fiesta commission.
12 noon    Special mass sung by the parish choir in honour of St Christopher of the Sea.
1.30pm     Sangria for all in Calle Cristo del Mar(cinema road)
8 pm         Procession through the port of the Commision, Mayorales and Mayoralesas, accompanied by bands.
11pm.       Dancing to the Zeppelin band in the Port Promenade.


Monday 8th Day of the Virgin de Loreto

8am            Wake up call throughout the Port for all.  
11am          Procession of Commision, Mayorales and Mayoralesas, accompanied by bands, to the church.
12 noon       Special sung mass, in honour of the Virgin de Loreto.
 1pm           “Mascaleta” loud firecrackers.
 8.30pm.     Procession in honour of the Virgin de Loreto.
10.30pm      Dancing to the band “Selva” on the Port Promenade.
12 midnight Closing of the festival with spectacular firework display over the sea.
