Javea´s Race for Life 21st September 2008
   
Its time to get out your trainers and join Javea charity, the Cancer Support Group(MABS) raising funds for its association. Their annual race for life, the brainchild of Teresa Kirby from Bar l´Ancora will be held on Sunday 21st September.

The charity was founded by its President Jackie Phillips who says the main income for the charity is from this sponsored event.

Entry is open to all and although it is termed race for life you can actually walk or weven stroll the course. An entry fee of 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for children is charged - normally this includes a Cancer support t shirt .In addition  competitors  get sponsorship for their efforts – so you can take part without actually completing the course!
