Summer Swimming in Benitachell

No need to get hot and bothered this summer when you have a wonderful covered pool at Benitachell. In addition to cooling off you get the benefit of exercise without the added risk of sunburn!!

The pool is open from 9.15am till 9pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm Saturday and 10am till 1pm Sundays and fiestas.

The pool is laid out for lane swimming (7in total) and swimming caps must be worn. There is a lifeguard in attendance throughout the day.

The cost for a swimming session is very reasonable, only 2.70 euros (this is discounted if you are on the padron of Benitachell- but you need to take your certificate of empadroniamento as proof). There is also a price structure to pay monthly only - 20 euros, 3 monthly 55 euros, 1 year 145 euros, annual mornings only 95 euros, anual weekends only 60 euros. They also have a family anual fee structure, 2 family members 250 euros, 3 members 350 euros, 4 members 400 euros and 5 members 500 euros.

In addition to swimming sessions they have 45 minute classes for adults, children, babies, invalides and pregnant women. Students are taught based on an assessment of their swimming or non- swimming ability.The fee structure is based on 3 monthly courses-2 classes a week 90 euros, 1 class 70 euros, intensive course 45 euros.
Courses for toddlers of 2 to 3 years 1 session 70 euros,water stimulation for babies 2 sessions 140 euros, 1 session 105 euros.

Timetable for the courses are as follows
Monday to Friday
Adults   9.30am, 7pm, 745pm
Invalid 12 noon - for which they have a hydrolic seat to lower into the water.
Children 4.45pm - non swimmers.
         5.30pm - 5-7 years intermediate and advanced.
         6.15pm - non swimmers 3-5 years.

Mondays and Wednesdays
Babies - 1030am
Wednesdays and Fridays
babies 0 to 3 years 7pm
