The Beautiful Game - CD Javea

For a handful of talented football mad youngsters this week it was their opportunity to follow their football dreams and bend it like Beckham.  Trials got underway at the successful CD Javea football club under the scrutiny of head coach Kenny Brown.

Successful applicants were picked from hundreds of eager young individuals all wanting a chance to join this ambitious club. CD Javea recently featured on a Sky Sports documentary which focused on the clubs continued success, within minutes of the documentary finishing the club was inundated with calls for further information, not only on the club but on holidaying in Javea too.

CD Javea’s first team are pushing hard for a place in the divisional play-offs and according to Mark Catlin, their company president, they have a good chance as the team is doing so well at the moment.  Mark said that due to the success of the first team squad most of the accepted applicants would have to wait until pre season training to impress the coaches.
