Things to see in Javea July/August 2008

During the months of July and August Javea plays host not only to the traditional fiestas but also many musical concerts and sporting events, which are listed here.

July 10th 8pm Exhibition of photos of Moors and Christians festival "Casa del Cable" in the Port

July 13th 8.30pm Traditional spanish music concert performed by various bands in the Instituto Musical on Avenida

Jaume 1( this is the road from the port to the town. The institute is about 75 metres before farmacia Amparo Marsal by the traffic lights)

July 20th - 26th - summer music ( Paseo de San Jaime - near the seafront in the Port)

August 2nd and 3rd Open Beach volleyball competition on the Arenal Beach

August 4th - 8th - the 8th Xabia Jazz Festival- Plaza de Constitution (in the centre if the town above new car park)
Each performance starts at 10.30pm

6th ANN HAPTON CALLAWAY - THE VOICE AND THE BIG BAND

7th ELIANE ELIAS TRIO

8th XIMO TEBAR BAN - ERIK SATIE PROJECT

August 16th - 10pm -valencian Folk Concert in the main plaz in the Port(near the seafront)

August 22nd- 10pm - summer concert in the Port church
