Tremors felt in Xativa and Gandia

On Sunday 15th June 2 small tremors were registered in the Valencian region of Gandia and Xativa with a reading of 2.5 on the richter scale.

The first one was at 9.17am with the epicentre in Rafelguaraf. It was felt in Barxeta and Xativa where one gusest in a holtel said the walls trembled for about 3 or 4 seconds.

The second was at 10.55pm and was registered as 3.4 on the richter scale. One man reported his sofa lifted off the floor, another said it was like a train passing right next to the house. No injuries were reported.
