Denia Rugby Club on the Beach

Rugby does not stop for the Summer in Spain ! During the Summer months there is a regular Beach Sevens Circuit along the Costa Blanca from Alicante up to Valencia with regular tournaments on Saturdays during July and August. Members of Denia Rugby Club can be found preparing for these tournaments on the beaches of Javea and Denia. On Tuesdays, from 7pm onwards, on the Arenal in Javea and afterwards in Charlie's Bar and then on Thursdays, from 7.30pm onwards, at the Punta Raset in Denia next to the Chriringuita. Come along and join in whether living here on simply on holiday or just to watch and have a drink afterwards. New players of all ages and experience welcome. These sessions primarily cover players from 16 years upwards - and I mean upwards ! On Fridays in Denoa, also at the Punta Raset in Denia, the 10-15 year olds also can be found playing.
