Happy New Year from Denia Rugby Club

After the long Christmas and New Year festive period, Denia Rugby Club are keen to get back into action and, more importantly, back to winning ways after a difficult pre Christmas League Campaign. The Senior Side now enter a second "Relegation" group of four teams which means home and away matches against La Safor (Gandia), Ciencias (Valencia) and Elche. The bottom two will face play-offs against the top Valencia and Alicante League Two sides to remain in the Valencia First Division.

Senior Training is on tuesdays and thursdays at 8pm at the Main Sports Stadium in Denia. The Junior Section, which now for the first time includes a Juvenile (Under 19s) team, train on tuesdays and fridays at 7pm. New players are welcome, with or without experience, from 6 years and upwards. We are particularly keen to recruit players born between 1995 and 1998 to bolster the younger age groups, as well as any parents with coaching experience. On behalf of all at Denia Rugby Club, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody a very Happy, Successful and Prosperous New Year and look forward to seeing you at our next matches.
