English Camp – Javea Teens To Have Fun Learning In The Sun

There is a cool event coming up in July for Spanish teens who need or want to improve their English while having fun, as the youth department in the town hall has arranged an “English Camp” for the young people of Javea during the school summer break.

The camp will be held from the 18th to the 27th July, and it will involve speaking and learning English for five hours every day while also participating in diverse summer activities.

The camp is open to any young person aged between the ages of 12 and 17 years who is a resident of Javea, who has basic English skills.

The camp students will learn English vocabulary, reading, correct pronunciation, writing, grammar, and also learn how to improve their comprehension while listening to conversations in English.

The price is €186 per child, which is very cheap when you consider this includes accommodation with full board, activities at the camp and excursions.

Monitors will be present as well as the English teachers on duty at the camp to keep an eye on the students.

Combining learning with such fun activities seems a great idea and probably will go down extremely well – particularly with parents who have to work long hours during the summer months, as they can take a breather from wondering what their teens are up to.

Places are limited to 60, so any families with teens who would be interested in attending, should not delay in booking a place to avoid disappointment in the event that all spots are filled.

The form to sign up for the camp can be downloaded here:
